The release of Revell's 1/35 Wiesel 2 LeFlaSys Ozelot (ocelot) kit air defense system was very welcomed among modelers. Revell has now released an additional PE detail set for bringing more details on this relatively small vehicle.

The set consists of one fret, 80 x 70mm in size, with approximately 100 small or even smaller parts for additional details on your kit.
The set is as always manufactured by Eduard for Revell, so it comes in the typical Eduard packaging with clear and easy to understand instructions.

         

The main replacement parts are the protection screens on the engine deck, over the muffler, the forward and rear mud flaps and the SLATs for the left air intake cover.
Also included are parts for the smoke discharger covers with some very tiny chains. For the visors there are also parts included that bring some more details to them. The rest of the parts are for the tool clamps and the many little details. Unfortunately I don´t have the base kit yet to check how much improvement the PE parts bring to the details of the base kit. The parts themselves are excellent with extremely sharp details and should be a huge improvement over the simplified parts on the kit. Many of the fine details are impossible to render with injection moulds or make it necessary to break down the kit in too many very small parts which raises the price and make the kit very complicated to assemble.
