This is a Walter Wrecker Truck that used to reside in Ithaca, New York. It has planetary reduction rear axles, and is re-engined with a Cat 3208 turbo (which I was unable to get at to photograph). The owner showed me pictures of it pulling a hopelessly stuck bulldozer up a hill, out of a pit of muck.
